What is your experience of social media? What (if any) social media accounts (such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.) do you have?
What do you use it for? In your experience, what are the positive and negative aspects of social media?
Social media is very popular these days. Almost anybody has a Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or LinkedIn account. Main reason for being so popular is communication. Social media helps people to communicate or to keep in touch with families. Also, on its channels people can speak out and can say their opinion or experiences. For business, social media is great because companies can promote their products and get feedback from customers. I use social media every day. I have a Facebook account which I am using it to stay in touch with my friends from my country, talking to them, share pictures and telling them about my experience in the US. Also, I have a Twitter account but I am not a big fun of it. But I use my YouTube account to watch and post videos. LinkedIn helps me to post my resume, and also to search for a job.I could include my blog as a social media too. Overall my experience is with social media is very good and I will keep using it in the future as well.

For business, social media might not be so helpful. I had tried to promote a show for a friend but I feel it is almost impossible to attract enough customers in several weeks. It is very slow to gain the initial momentum.
